All students and Parents/Guardians must annually verify that they have read and understand the General Information and School Policies and the Summaries of District Policies contained in the Mahtomedi Public Schools Student and Family Handbook. In addition, students and Parents/Guardians must annually verify:
they have read the school district policy relating to safety and acceptable use of the school district computer system and the Internet (Policy #524).
they have read the school district iPad Device Guide for students in grades K-2 and Chromebook Device Guide for students in grades 3-12 and Passages Transition Program, and acknowledge our Device for Every Learner agreements and information.
they have reviewed the optional Optional Chromebook Protection Plan and acknowledge that the protection has been offered to them as an option.
Verification of the handbook must be submitted by students and families by September 5, 2023.

Verification Process Information
Parents and Guardians
On July 20, the school district will activate the acknowledgment screens in ParentVUE and StudentVUE.
The next time a parent or guardian signs into ParentVUE they will be prompted to complete a series of acknowledgment screens before being allowed into the system.
If a family has more than one child in grades K-12 and/or Passages Transition Program, each parent or guardian only needs to complete the acknowledgment screens once.
It is required that at least one parent or guardian complete the acknowledgment screen, but every parent or guardian with a ParentVUE account will see the acknowledgment screens when they log in.
Preschool Families: Mahtomedi Area Preschool families, please complete the acknowledgment process via the Mahtomedi Student and Family Handbook Verification Google Form.
Students
Students in grades 6-12 and the Passages Transition Program will see the acknowledgment screens in StudentVUE on July 20 as well.
They will also acknowledge the Family and Student Handbook, Policy 524, and the Chromebook Device Guide.
6th-grade students will set up StudentVUE in class at the start of the school year and will be asked complete the acknowledgment screens at that time.
New students in grades 7-12 and Passages Transition Program will be given their StudentVUE credentials by the first day of school and will be asked complete the acknowledgment screens at that time.
